Jewelry by Tracy
Based in NYC, Tracy has been creating
unique jewelry since 1983. She began moonlighting in
creative design while beginning her career as a rehabilitation
counselor working with the
mentally ill.
This unique body of work is created from a
variety of antique, organic and precious materials including
vintage glass, semi-precious stones and antique beads - either
found in small villages and towns around the world or reclaimed
from decayed Victorian handbags.
Each piece is expertly hand crafted; the
links hand-wrapped and the headpins hand-made. Sterling silver
chain, wire, earring findings and filigree clasps are carefully
oxidized to compliment the antique settings and vintage materials.
Because of variations in material and the fact that the designer is
red/green color blind--each piece is completely unique.
All earrings are sterling silver except
where noted.
