If you get professional massages take a bottle of your favorite essential oil blend with you to your next appointment.
If you are a professional massage therapist you might want to make up several of these aromatherapy combinations and give your clients a choice. They will surely appreciate this.
If neither of the above apply don't despair. Massage can be a special activity to share with your favorite person, and all of the blends below are suitable for self-massage. Combine 6 drops lavender, 4 drops chamomile, and 2 drops of vetiver in four ounces of a carrier oil. For self-massage, rub this into your temples.
Flower Essences: Dandelion (F) (Also see Dandelion Oil
Combine 4 drops each of peppermint, marjoram, fennel, and basil with one ounce of a carrier oil. Gently massage stomach and abdomen.
Flower Essences: Rescue Remedy (B), Chamomile (F).
Combine 3 drops each of chamomile, birch, rosemary, ginger, and lavender in 1 ounce of a carrier oil.
Flower Essences: Dandelion (F)
Combine 3 drops each of chamomile, ginger, birch, rosemary, and 12 drops of lavender in 1/2 ounce of sweet almond oil. For minor backaches you can cut these amounts in half.
